Life at Nine Yards
Our Story
We are a team of experienced HR Business Partners. We’ve worked in organisations of all shapes and sizes, across a range of industries and in different countries around the world.
We believe that the most successful organisations recognise that their people are their greatest asset. Over the years, we've seen founders, executives, and small business owners trying to juggle all the hats and not having the time to give the people side of their business the focus it needs. We also saw (and experienced!) super-stretched HR teams with a heavy agenda struggling to keep up with demand.
In 2020, we got together and hatched a plan to start a consulting business that would help create great people experiences for today and tomorrow. And so Nine Yards was born.

Rochelle Bibby
Co-Founder + Director
Rochelle has worked in various consulting and in-house senior Human Resources partnering roles in Auckland, London and Melbourne, across diverse industries and organisations such as Sportsbet and Samsung.
Rochelle has extensive experience in developing and executing people and capability strategies, remuneration and organisational change. She is passionate about ensuring strategies, culture, and people align to create high performing teams and businesses.

Ciara Clifford
Co-Founder + Director
Ciara has extensive experience providing consulting services to organisations in technology and e-commerce. She has led global organisational change programs and recruitment teams and provided strategic and operational advice in Australia, Asia and Europe.
Before moving back to Australia, Ciara worked as a HR Director at Deutsche Bank in London. She is passionate about enabling people to play to their strengths and is an accredited Strengths Profile practitioner.

Simone Garrad
Co-Founder + Director
Simone is an experienced HR Business Partner and has worked for Australian companies such as Medibank Private, Sensis and Australia Post. Simone has also led the People Culture function for a prominent not-for-profit business in Melbourne, defining and delivering their people strategy.
With a background in learning, development and organisational change, Simone’s passion lies in partnering with businesses to create great employee experiences across the whole employee lifecycle.
